About George O'Brien III
Sharing Works to Inspire
_edited.jpg)
Hello I am George O'Brien. I am currently a College Student with a experience in Digital Innovation Film Television and minors in Studio Art and Music. I made this website as a way to make a portfolio to show my progress over the years. However, it also helps get myself out there and show not only friends and family my work but also those who enjoy the works I make.
First 3D - Design Project
Tape Shoe
This project is one I am most proud of, a replica of a shoe I own made completely out of tape. That is right, this shoe is made only out of tape and one sliver of newspaper. This was my first project in 3D design and probably my favorite seeing how it turned out very well done.

Logo Design for a Company
Candle Logo
A project for an Arts Design class required me to make up a company and with it a logo. Here is the logo for the purpose of how it would look on an actual website, and to show you all the design. This is the draft and if I remember, I will update this site with a more polished version.

North Carolina and West Virginia Trip
Here are pictures from my trip to North Carolina where I visited almost every major city including Fayetteville, Charlotte, Raleigh, Durham, Wilmington, Winston-Salem, and various coastal cities as well!. After North Carolina I went to the New River Gorge National Park in West Virginia, so there are some pictures from there as well!.
Second 3D - Design Project
Cardboard Harmonica
After the tape shoe was completed, I was tasked with making an object that held volume out of cardboard. Literally every object holds volume, that I own at least, so I decided to make my harmonica that was a gift from a family friend into cardboard. The process was way simpler than the tape shoe, the only issues was paper tape. Paper tape is used to cover the edges of cardboard so you don't see them. The only issues is it’s not even tape. I had to cut many 1/16 stripes of this stuff and glue it to the cardboard. Other than that, the process was simple enough. The paint is black because nothing else shows up to well on cardboard and the gradient is to show the lower to higher notes.
